She closed the door at the end of the day
Another day gone by
Another day full of life's harshest tricks
Another day that just led her to cry
So she let her self cry on the end of this day
Why shouldn't she it was just like any other
No matter the fact that she woke up ill
No matter it the day for all mothers
She cried and she cried the tears endlessly came
Like so many times before
No angel to ask her if life was ok
No hero to knock at her door
No friends to ask how her day went
No soul mate to hold in his arms
No parent to call on to help her sad life
No husband to keep her bed warm
No one to kiss her head and say its aright
No one to say let me give you ha hand
No one to give their time or their ears
No one to try to understand
Alone she cried as ever before
Alone she cried again
Alone she cried, it was the way of her life
Alone... it was how she'd remain
